The Registrar and Transfer agents (R & T agents) for a publicly held company keeps the records of every outstanding share certificate and the name of the person to whom it is registered. When a stock changes hands, the Transfer agent transfers the ownership of the stock from the seller’s name to the buyer’s name. The Registrar reconciles all transfer records and makes sure that the number of shares debited is equal to the number of shares credited.

The Company was incorporated as Subex Systems Private Limited in 1994 and subsequently changed its name to Subex Systems Limited in 1995. It further changed its name to Subex Azure Limited, on the acquisition of Azure Solutions Limited, UK, in 2006 before being known by its current name since the year 2007.
