PAT at Rs. 418.7 mn, up 365.9% from FY09 Q3

Quarter ended 31 December 2009 - Key Highlights

• Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs. 418.7 mn (US $ 8.7 mn)
• Net Consolidated Revenue at Rs. 1,210.4 mn (US $ 25.1 mn)
• Revenue from Products at Rs. 1,019.7 mn (US $ 21.1 mn)

Bangalore, INDIA - Subex Ltd, a leading global provider of Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS) for communications service providers, announced today that it has recorded revenue of Rs. 1,210.4 mn (US $ 25.1 mn) for the third quarter of FY10. The PAT for the same period stood at Rs. 418.7 mn (US $ 8.7 mn) as compared to a loss in the corresponding quarter of FY09.

Product revenue for FY10 Q3 was at Rs. 1,019.7 mn (US $ 21.1 mn), contributing to 84.24 % of the overall revenue for the period.

Commenting on the business, Subash Menon, Founder Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, said, "As we had indicated earlier, the company is on the return path to success and this is evident in the figures for this quarter. Product EBITDA is particularly strong at 28 percent. We will see brighter days ahead."
